SON Estrella Galicia Posidonia, the zero emissions festival, is slated for a grand return. This unique event, which is more than just about music, seeks to redefine the traditional festival model by offering an immersive sensory experience intertwined with the vibrant culture of Forremente. Taking place from October 6th to 8th under the theme “THE CHALLENGE”, it aims to deepen its bond with the island and its inhabitants.

This three-day exclusive event offers only 350 attendees an opportunity to indulge in the island’s stunning beaches, breathtaking sunsets and hidden gems. The seventh edition of this festival features a special pre-sale that rewards environmentally conscious festival-goers.

Set amidst the Mediterranean at summer’s end, this annual event is built on five fundamental elements. Sinsal curates a secret line-up blending fresh talent with renowned music figures seldom seen up close. A culinary feast awaits attendees with a Michelin-starred gastronomy initiative led by Chef Pepe Solla. Drawing from both Atlantic and Mediterranean culinary traditions, it will feature locally sourced 0km products paired perfectly with Estrella Galicia’s beer culture celebration.

A key focus of SON Estrella Galicia Posidonia is generating positive impact through sustainability. From 2021 onwards, it has pledged towards zero emissions, encompassing decarbonization, circular economy practices, ecosystem conservation, sustainable mobility and raising environmental awareness.

The crown jewel of this event is undoubtedly the beautiful island of Formentera itself. Attendees will get to explore various routes and participate in activities led by experts well-versed in this natural paradise’s magic.

In line with previous years, only 350 people will be given the chance to attend SON Estrella Galicia Posidonia and engage respectfully with the surrounding environment. The festival has been dedicated since its inception to safeguarding the oceanic posidonia plant; responsible for the waters’ mesmerizing blue hue, through their support of the Save Posidonia Project initiative.
